2nd day at the MTC
We had a good day today learning and using the Preach My Gospel method of doing missionary work. Our teachers are recently returned young missionaries and they are full of fun and energy.
We have had to "role play" teaching converts with Kathy and with other couples.
The food is average and there is too much of it.   However, at the evening meal we are able to get a pretty good salad.   The cafeteria is gigantic and handles all 3000 missionaries without long lines.  Tomorrow, we have to teach a person that came from the surrounding cities that may or may not be a member but has agreed to act as an investigator.   We have to teach for 45 min!!  We are a little scared about doing this.
Gary is having a hard time with no diet pepsi.    He has a headach and is sleepy and is real dumb!! 
We are going to a fireside tonight.   A General Authority comes every week to do a fireside for the missionaries.
The General Authority was Elder and Sister Whiting, and, the talks were very inspiring to us.  Again, as it has happened to Kathy and I before, we were led to repentance to be more diligent in prayer and obedience.
We felt very inspired by the words that were given to us.  We both are going to be more dillagent in praying for the Holy Ghost to help us over come our fears.
